December 2022 Update

2022 has been a stellar year for the construction industry as a whole, despite the astronomical increases in material prices in the 1st and 2nd quarters.  The Commercial Industry is continuing to show strength into the 1st and 2nd quarter of 2023 with Commercial Repurposing leading the way.  Residential Multifamily is showing no signs of slowing anytime soon due to demand in housing, while the Single Family and Track Work are looking weak due to recent interest rate increases and an inflated housing market leaving many potential buyers unable to qualify for mortgages.  Supply issues continue to be mildly problematic for the industry as a whole, with advanced planning being more important than ever.

Here at FTC, we have continued building new relationships with some of Southern California’s premiere Contractors such as Savant Construction, Moorefield Construction, Ed Grush GC, Patterson Construction and Vertex Builders.  We have also continued to serve AJ Padelford & Son, Coastline Development & Ellis Contracting to name a few.  Our primary focus in 2022 has been Commercial Repurposing and Facade Remodel work, with an emphasis on Supermarkets & Restaurants, hopefully positioning ourselves well for a prosperous 2023.
